Iida Fumie lived a happy childhood in a small town in the prefecture of Shimane. But time flies and at 29, she accepts a marriage proposal from Murai Shigeru, also known as Mizuki Shigeru, creator of the famous Gegege no Kitarou manga series. But Mizuki Shigeru has not always been famous and after the marriage was held only five days after their first meeting, Fumie has to leave Shimane for Tokyo and experience poverty while her husband struggles within the harsh world of manga edition.
