Awesome drama, I actually loved the open ending, I think it suits this story the best :) since it's not a a fantasy one, it's a slice of life, and in life as much as we would want to make miracles happen and stories become reality, we have to stay down on the ground and think logically.

After a certain age the mind conquers over the heart because the person can anticipate some aspects about the future and has the power to prevent... but, of course, preventing hurts too... anything done against the wishes of the heart hurt :)

I think Ryoko is beautiful and a great actress, but I didn't like her character, Noda Naoko, much. It was fine at the beginning when she always helped her friends with their problems and all, but after a while, it became too much. Couldn't she just refuse them next time they ask for advice, since she was tired of it already? I guess that's part of Ryoko's role but It was just annoying.
I either didn't like how Naoko switched between Kurosawa and Sawaki. It felt like she was playing with them. I didn't get the feeling of love from her. It was confusing of who she actually had feelings for. The first day she said this and that nice thing to one of them, and the next day she would dump that person and switch to the another. I felt like she only wanted SOMEONE to marry.
Plus I couldn't stand that irritating and fake wife and her dumb husband.
I liked Jin's acting though. Kurosawa was emotional and sweet and we all knew that he fell for Naoko from the start, even though he was young and had thoughts of playing around. It was nice seeing him having an eye on her all the time and when he became all happy when the two of them got a little closer. I didn’t mind the 11-year age gap at all.
And what the heck is that ending? There is no clear ending in Naoko and Kurosawa’s relationship. It was lame.
