Kuwano Shinsuke, 40, is a successful architect -- he builds houses where "people like to live in". He has no money worries, and a routine, quiet life. He doesn't really like people, treats them with sarcasm, which leads to him being viewed as somewhat eccentric. I know the ending implied that Kuwano and Hayasaka would get married, but still! There ought to be a special where we actually get to see how they get married ad maybe get a glimpse of their home life too. :) |

Romantic elements in J-dramas often have such a forced, dry quality just like the humour, but this... This is truly a masterpiece.
Though I've only seen 3 episodes, I expect this to become a favourite of mine. Gotta love the socially awkward architect and sympathize with his every move. <3 |

If someone thinks this is boring, they have no understanding of humor. The comedy is just amazing and I cracked numerous times in each episode, it is not random humor like in Hana Kimi, it's well planned humor.
Characters made this drama a masterpiece too, especially the main character. Actors were amazing, Abe Hiroshi, Natsukawa Yui... both are amazing. Plot isn't that special but it fuses well with the humorous scenes.. or something... Overall this is the best comedy drama I've seen. Like someone said, every minor detail play big role in understanding this drama/humor. |

You could not ask for better casting than this drama offered. Everyone played their part to perfection. Abe especially is so convincing in this drama as a very quirky architect who is reluctantly drawn into in the lives of those around him. Each episode I was further drawn into this drama and was not disappointed at any point along the way.

About main hero:
I like him. He is dependable, smart, honest, skilled, straightforward, cleanly, independent. He is cute. I like his face. The way he smiles. He is pure too. He never intent to be rude, he is just a little out of .. the "common sense", but he don't lack of love..'cause he love animals.. and cares for his friends and family... I think the only not so good part of him is that sometimes he is a little indecisive (is that because he is scared to be hurt.. or maybe 'cause he didn't think for himself that he is worth enough? Don't know- maybe both. But still like him.). :) Anyway- I don't want that guy to change too much. He is near to be perfect. His reactions are fun. ('cause he is shy also). And he became a little nice.. or atleast he is trying to be. :) Every time when I think of that hero I can't do anything else, but smile. He is just so fun :D Made me smile again and again :) |

such a good drama... every little thing is so... well considered. Actors play awesome, and even though the plot may be really simple you watch and just get more and more into it.

This one is really my favorite dorama and the best role of Abe Hiroshi!
Every small detail in the series play its significant role in explaining main hero's life and changes within him! Simply love it! |
