Biography

Originated from Nara, Japan, Doumoto Tsuyoshi joined Johnny's Talent Agency at the age of 12. He had his first main acting role at the age of 15 in the drama Ningen Shikkaku, in which he acted alongside hie partner Doumoto Koichi. Together they debuted as the famous pop duo Kinki Kids with the song 'Garasu no Shounen" in 1997. With all of their 30+ singles reaching number one of the charts on relaese day, they hold the Guinness World Record. In the year 2002, Doumoto Tsuyoshi released his first solo single 'Machi', which later became the theme song for the drama 'Home Drama'. He has also done other solo projects, namely Endlicheri Endlicheri, 244 Endli-x (pronounced 'Tsuyoshi Endorikkusu') and Tsuyoshi (剛紫).
