here's my Top 10 Takashi Miike films:

1. Visitor Q 10/10
2. Gozu 9/10
3. The Bird People in China
4. Ichi the Killer
5. Dead or Alive
6. Audition 8/10
7. The Hapiness of the Katakuris
8. Big Bang Love, Juvenile A
9. Ley Lines
10. 13 Assassins

I need to re-watch Visitor Q to confirm that it is his masterpiece and Audition too because I saw it when I wasn't a Miike fan yet and so it might get even better with a second viewing. I will also re-watch a few more of his films in the future that I saw when I wasn't still a true fan oh him and that I think I will enjoy them more this time before making a definite Top of all his films. Now, moving on to Sion Sono!

So I've watched over 50 of his films and still have a few to watch... does that make me his biggest fan on mdl? :o

My favorite contemporary japanese director. I know many people love CROWS ZERO (I do, too), but her earlier movies are amazing too. The ones lynfor cited also are among my favourites, a movie called Kikoku (Yakuza Demon) is great too!!
