Kurenai Wataru is a shy and quiet young man with many fears and problems, whose only joy is to play his violin. Although he has dedicated himself to his task, some think of Kiva as an enemy of humanity and try to destroy him as well as the Fangire. I really wanted to like this more than I ultimately did. The whole dual timeline idea was really cool and I do love the general idea. But then they just kept introducing characters and conflicts. I can only guess that they added so many relationships for the mothers who watched the show with their children but by the end it felt like watching a kdrama with special effects. So idk, I guess that if you usually don't like tokusatsu you might like this exactly because it's a bit melodramatic

I love Otoya!

The time travel thing was so lame, but super funny at the same time xD

And even if I knew it from the beginning, I was so sad when Otoya died...

this was sooooo good!! i don't really like these plastic suit things so i mainly watch kamen rider and super sentai series because of the real actors and the plots. and the plot of this series was so freaking good!! all the stuff with wataru and maya and yuri and otoya and eveybody was so well done and so confusing and maybe the funniest thing was wataru's son in the end x3 it was so hilarious "papa! i'm your child from future. come and save the future from neo-fangires!." x3

The only tokusatsu I've ever seen... and I just love it! Otoya was just unique - every second he was on screen I couldn't get the smile off my face xD And the story was much better than I had expected of a tokusatsu series - all that going back and forth in time was really interesting :) If you don't mind some people dressed in plastic suits going through your screen from time to time and you like comedy, make sure to watch this one ;)
