ep11 SO SAD, omg *crying*

I was put off by a few scenes in the last episode
i.e. the time skip of 8 years! like omg wtf man
but by the end of the last episode, it still gave off a nice warm feeling.
The friendship portrayed in this anime is great, not something worthwhile the watch in standardise high school anime.
arghk it's a good series, i thought it'll have a a bit more romance, but im thankful it was as it is :')

@liyirna I think I understand what you mean.
While being good; I can see that I could have reacted differently to this if I had watched this some other time in a different mood.
As it was, I was looking for a friendship story, something not so heavy, and this fit the bill perfectly. The color scheme soothed me, the 60's feel (which I usually do not like in movies) settled me, and jazz (which I usually prefer slower/more structured) just moved me. At that particular time it was like this was tailored for me.

@kirtil, may be, series didn't work magic for me, so i'm looking at it through sober eyes and being my usual picky self. i liked music, really did, listened to all tracks separately, and concept was good, but all pieces didn't fit tightly like puzzle and there wasn't feelng of completeness.

@liyirna @vanelya10 I don't think I felt much (or indeed any) clumsiness from this but I tend to gloss over minor things when I like something a lot.

This was so good; I liked the jazz and the 60's feel and also the bromance of Kaoru and Sentarou so much that I almost wanted a second season and wished they would have dismissed some/most of the side stories and focus more on jazz and friendship of our guys.

@vanelya10, but result gives off an impression of clumsiness.

@liyirna the art is not clumsy, its unique and original and it's been great animated in a way to give that air of the 60's but not to dramatical but in a soft and warm way with simple but complex combination of colors.

Plot is pretty boring and art is clumsy, but jazz compensates a lot.
