What should I say? This drama really wasn't the best, but I ended up loving it at the end. I know the biggest part of it is thanks to my obsession over Shingo and Pi, though.

However, Yamapi's character was literally unbearable in first few eps, then he probably got a hold-back, but it wasn't good either, because in line with it, he got less lines and on-screen time, too. Just as I somehow ended up loving the drama, I ended up missing Pi's idiotic character at the end. I mean, alright, he was annoying, but this way the drama lost another chance to become a little deeper. Because what I missed the most of it is the background of the characters, I wanted to know a little more about them. For example, Shingo's character was hella interesting! Of course, he was creepy, everyone who says this is right, but realise that it was the most awesome part of the drama! Every detective drama needs a remarkable genius who can become memorable, and Hiratsuka-san had the potential for it. Too bad, they kind of let it go.

The cases weren't bad at all, but I need to admit I got really disappointed when I got to know that the same person wrote Mr Brain. Comparing to that, these were a lot less memorable.

Taking everything into consideration, I have this very strong feeling that it could be even a very good drama with a more deliberate script. By the way, I'm surprised that its idiotic humour was even more for the Japanese viewers, too, that's quite something. Still, I didn't regret watching this it at all, but I do regret that it was only eight eps long. (I said I'm quite twisted about this drama.) The ending was kind of rushed, but the very end of it was perfect.
