This drama is definitely one of the best dramas of 2014. It had the perfect mixture of action, romance, comedy. I really really enjoyed this drama very much,

The actors and actresses chosen for this drama were perfect. My heart broke for the main characters, and i just wanted to punch out the bad guys so badly. That's how you know its a good drama, when the characters make you feel a certain way about them. Lee Seung Gi did an absolutely amazing job. He usually plays the very cute, and charming guy in his dramas.. but with this one, he had a different role where his past haunts him, and him wanting to get revenge. He did so amazing in acting angry, hurt, and revengeful.

The build up of the plot was also really well done. At the end of each episode, it definitely leads you to wanting more, and being very suspenseful. It gets you thinking about what exactly is happening, and who is actually the bad guy.

I love that not only did we get to learn more about the main lead (Eun Dae Gu), but i love it even more that we got to know more about each character. There were times in each episode, where each character's past is revealed more and more to us So I absolutely love that it wasn't completely revolved around just the main female and male lead all the time.

Definitely a favorite of mine, and definitely a drama I would recommend to anyone. This was very enjoyable to watch.

This. This is it. This drama. This freaking drama is everything I've ever wanted to see. And never in my life did I think that I would end up loving a cop drama. But I did. And I'm so happy I gave this drama a chance because now it's one of my favourites.

The plot is the biggest advantage of this drama. It's a perfect mix of action, suspense, crime, drama, and even comedy and romance. What more could you want? And although I admit I got bored sometimes, the boredom didn't last long. There's always something happening in this drama, and numerous plot twists make everything even more exciting, interesting, and fun to watch. The pace of story development is also perfect, thanks to what it's pretty easy to follow the plot without any headaches. The romance between Dae Gu and Su Seon isn't cheesy and immature, so thank God there aren't any cringe worthy moments between those characters.

Seriously, if only more dramas were like that, I'm sure I wouldn't end up hating so many of them.

The cast is really well-chosen, so there's no surprise that the acting is one of the best I've seen so far. There are no awkward facial expressions or gestures, and the actors express the characters' feelings in a good, believable way. Only An Jae Hyeon's acting skills lack sometimes, but most of the time he isn't even that bad. So good job.

All of the main characters are likeable, which is kind of surprising considering that most dramas have many annoying characters. To be honest I was expecting Su Seon to be irritating, as almost every main female leads in dramas are, so imagine my surprise when I didn't end up hating her. And as you can learn from my other reviews, most of the time I hate main female characters. Also, I love how each character is different and special in a way. Thanks to that every character can add something new to the story.

This drama has its little flaws, but they're not very significant. I think the biggest flaw of "You're All Surrounded" is that a few of the last episodes are a little bit of a drag, but fortunately at episode 19 everything goes back to normal.

Overall, even if you don't like cop dramas, I suggest you give this one a chance. "You're All Surrounded" is something fresh, has an actual plot, and doesn't kill viewers with a cheesy romance. Seriously, we need more dramas like this one.

Omg! On this drama, i laughed so hard, i cried so hard . I was nervous, exited, happy everything! This drama was one of the best. Not too mush romance, not too much drama, was awesome!
And i also want to mention that the cast is brilliant. All of them are very good actors. I was pleasantly surprised.

Yes, "You're All Surrounded" is indeed a perfect mixture of romance, bromance, drama, comedy and cop stories but it sadly misses out on building up mystery and suspense.
The big story is badly written compared to all the small cases our team has to solve. The number of episodes and the writing cause our team to be extra dumb when it comes to the big mystery, which collides with the rest, because Eun Dae Gu and Seo Pan Seok prove to be on the bright side a lot of times throughout stake outs or investigations of the smaller cases. And nothing is as frustrating as watching characters to be suddenly restricted to the small bread crumbs of evidence and knowledge the writer throws at them because there are still 6 more episodes to go.

Adding that those of you who watched The Greates Love know what I'm talking about when I say refrigerator CF. And that's what I based my expectations on: Lee Seung Gi's hilarious cameo in that drama and the CF that followed afterwards show how much chemistry these actors have with each other. I'm not saying that chemistry was completely missing in YAAS but Seung Gi's character restricted him too much in my opinion. I love him as the spoiled, cute, snarky and sassy characters who can still become quite serious if neeeded; that's what he does best. A character like Eun Dae Gu -reserved, angry, frustrated, silent and grumpy- is nothing for Seung Gi; he should be able to play on his emotions.
Added to this are the awfully one dimensional villians; the show at least gave us characters like Chief Kang, who was wonderfully unpredictable, and Gi Jae, who was wonderfully random.

I'm not saying this drama is bad - I rated it with 4 stars - as I really enjoyed the dynamic between our four rookie cops and our grumpy teddy bear Team Leader - I cheered with them, I laughed with them, I cried with them, I cursed with them -, it's just that I could see the great potential that was buried underneath, but not used.

I was so hoping for a romance between Tae Il and Guk though. I shipped them together so hard. Well, at least Tae Il's brother turned out to be gay.
