The real mystery is the way murderers, dead bodies and criminal masterminds seem to follow a high school student everywhere. Anyway it was still enjoyable to watch.

at least better than the first film, and the second I don't even remember it but I think this was the top of them.
Good, nothing above that.

@d0npian0 Exactly what I like about the Kindaichi Shonen series. Realism is the last thing that concerns me when watching it. Let's not forget that it's adapted from a manga.

I'm a huge fan of the drama version of Kindaichi. I have watched practically everything there is to watch. My favorite Kindaichi will always be Tsuyo but Yamada is a close second and mainly because he does channel Tsuyo's original interpretation of the character. I was actually waiting for a long time to see Kindaichi on the TV screen again ( years to be exact) and I'm not disappointed.

What I actually really like about this is that it's not at all about realism, but chiefly about tricks. Just when you think that
the little boy can't be the bad guy, although he's such an obvious suspect, the show finds a reason for a little boy to actually be a dude in his 20s. What even.
The good thing about that is that the show gives you a chance to find the criminal yourself if you just think logically about all the hints.
Like, why would the ladder be gone? So that no one finds out that the second corpse isn't actually dead. And bam, you got the murderer.
You just need to span your disbelief and consider every possibility, no matter how absurd it might seem.

Even though I really like neo especially for Yama-chan it still has some unrealistic parts with how students react to not 1 but a lot dead bodies. (Like I would freak out but mostly they are like "wow lucky me I'm alive")
