Synopsis

Amemiya Hotaru has just returned to Tokyo after having worked three years in Hong Kong on a company project. Despite not having contacted Takano Seiichii, her boss and roommate, during this time, she returns expecting things to have stayed the same. However, Hotaru is on for a shock as Seiichii proposes to her. Ecstatic, Hotaru agrees, however upon meeting Seiichii's university friend, Konatsu, Hotaru comes to realize how mismatched the two of them are. Despite appearances at work, at home she's lazy, messy and doesn't know how to save, while he's clean, cool and thrifty. In an attempt to become more like a woman who matches Seiichii, she becomes determined to change her ways. However, things become complicated with the arrival of Seno Kazuma, a new contract employee at her company who seems to accept Hotaru for who she is. Will Seiichii and Hotaru get their happily ever after or are their differences too big?

It was cute, just like the first season! Hotaru is cute as always, and there are a lot of cute parts.

However, I like Hotaru with both Buchou and Seno…. they should have just gone with a threesome, haha.

I must watch more things with the actor of Seno, Mukai, playing major roles! I thought he acted well, and I believed his character, maybe even more than I believe Buchou's.

Also, I'm glad they emphasized free will and going against the social trend~ Go women power!

Hotaru no Hikari is a drama that I like and I keep an excellent memory. I was so delighted by the return of our favorite himono-onna with this sequel that has maintained the freshness and humor that attracted me so much in season 1.

The strong early start, I loved the reunion between Hotaru and very strange that Buchou are a couple funny ... strange ^ o ^

I enjoyed this second season keeps his humor and childlike while addressing the real problems of couples, saving money and marriage prospects. As against this damage I have found is that they are addressing the problems of torque even while they seem to all but a couple! With this new season, I expected to still more romantic scenes and love affairs, nay, it is even worse than before, there is virtually no skinship Oo.

Daaaamn, they mustn't cast Mukai here, they must NOT!!!
Because the whole second season I wished Himono-onna to end with a Himono-otoko TTㅅTT From the wery start it was so hopeless wish. Anyway, good drama! Thank you, Ayae-neesan, for that "Bunch~oooooo" voice in my head ^3^

How can something be so funny and so goddamn awkward at the same time? Seriously, in terms of human behaviour this was such an epic fail, still it was so quirky and hilarious I quite liked it in the end.

(But damn, the word 'buchou' does appear a lot in our textbooks at university, and now everytime I read it, I can't help but imagine Hotaru shouting 'buchoooooooou~' D: and that's not cool.)
