Synopsis

Tsutsumi Shinko is a professional swindler released from jail on probation. The very night of her released, she is approached by a man working for the Government's Board of Audit, a division that controls the way the public money is used by the recipients. She ends up working for the Board of Audit, but has to hide her swindling past from her new coworkers, among whose are a man from whom she once extorted money in a marriage fraud, and a rookie, freshly graduated from Tokyo University, enthusiastic about defending the money entrusted to the state by Japanese citizens. Impressed nor by power, hierarchy or money, Tsutsumi will give a new impulse to the quiet government office.

Recommendations

Both are series about tax investigations with female leads. The main heroine in both is a person who can name the price of everything she sees in front of her--shoes, clothes, and etc--and likes to say that someone is suspicious because his stuff "smells of money."

The main characters in both the dramas are swindlers who become social workers while trying to hide their path. 'ougon no buta' has a female swindler while 'Hammer Session!' has a male swindler. Both change the work place with their different views because of their past, and both experienced poverty.

I really liked the ending :)

Pretty good drama.. and shows corruption/justice being served in an entertaining way. Ryoko Shinohara pretty much in this one has a role that is similar to Haken no Hinkaku..
