In 2307, there are no more fossil fuels on Earth so humanity has to go with solar energy. In order to do that, the three great nations -- which are the Union, the Human Reformist Alliance and the AEU -- built three orbital elevators with solar power generation system. However it does not turn to good account for small countries, so many wars break out in those countries. One day, the Human Reformist Alliance's orbital elevator is attacked by some organisation but then appears a Gundam to oppose them. It says it belongs to a 'Celestial Being' that will now put an end to all conflicts on Earth, regarding nationality, religion etc.
