Teito Klein is an orphaned slave that goes to a military academy and manages to become its top student. But due to a strange set of events regarding Teito's past he ends up imprisoned. Managing to escape he seeks refuge in the Church with its law of sanctuary. Here he will learn the mysteries of his past and escape the Barsburg Empire forces with the help of the seven ghosts who protect the Church.
The story was good. The voices were good. O7-GHOST was good. If you've got no anime to watch and don't mind a little philosophy and action, it's a recommendation.
Teito Klein's memories are a mess. He can't remember much from his past. He's an orphaned slave, and one of the best students at the military school. He gets bullied by everyone, because he was a slave. With Mikage, his only friend, they vowed to stay with each other, no matter what. When he saw one of the generals, Ayanami, a flashback of Ayanami killing his father shot through his mind. Due to his reckless actions, Teito gets locked up. but with Mikage's help, he escapes and seeks refuge in the Church. Mikage dies, saving his friend's life and Teito seeks for revenge. He learns the mysteries of his fragmented past and the mysteries behind the Church as well. Frau, his guardian he hates in the beginning, but slowly gets along with, helps him. There's a legend laying in the Church. There's a Satan, who tries to manipulate people by getting people on his side, working for him. To avoid this, the seven ghosts of the Church exist to protect the people. What Teito doesn't know is that he gets involved in the legend, which is actually a true story. And it seems like these seven ghosts are way closer to him than he had ever thought. Teito also has a mystery. He carries the Eye of Mikhail, one of the two holy stones. Teito doesn't know about this though. Slowly his past becomes clear. He isn't just what he thought he was.
As you can see, the summary is quite long. I still haven't put everything in it, to keep it as short and simple as possible. The story is in other words quite complicated. However, as long as you keep your head to it, it will be alright, and even a pleasure (Because the story has a phylosophical touch). It made me think a bit about how the world turns around.
But this is what i'm thinking of it. Others may think it's an easy story, others may be alright even after taking long breaks and still be able to catch up with the story, and others doesn't like the phylosophy and the God and Satan theory.
The personalities were 'described' well. The characters didn't have a really typical and original personality, but I didn't mind that. I loved the bounds and relationships between the people. How much they actually care about each other. It was heartwarming to see.
