Takeshima Tsuyoshi sits in jail because of a murder he commited for the sake of his brother, Naoki. From there, he keeps sending letters to Naoki, trying to maintain his only connection to the outside world. But the Japanese society stigmatises and looks down on the family of murderers, being of the same blood. Naoki, who wishes for a peaceful life, runs away from his brother's letters.
