Ju Yeong Jak has been working for Baek Geum Ok and Chairman Yun for a decade, but recently the rich family has started to come under fire of the media. As wealth and affairs begin to tear at the seams of the family, Yeong Jak is given an increasingly larger role to take care of the family's shady business. As he has a hard time saying no to his employer, he begins to suffocate under the heartlessness of the mother. Chairman Yun warns Yeong Jak that money will lead to contempt. What's with the low rating? This film is not even close to what koreans are capable of when it comes to pornography yet it's meaningful enough. It's pretty nice and accurate representation of rich people's way of life.
I personally love it.

Whoa, wait. That ending. I'm confused now.

I'm not really sure what to think about this movie, except it just makes me think about how screwed up humans are when faced with unlimited access to wealth and power.

The acting was -- I'm not sure how to describe it. There was a lot of spoken English and I'm not sure if the actors knew what they were saying, because there wasn't much intonation in the English... Even the English speaker seemed like he didn't know what he was saying, to be honest. Either that, or it was intentional that the character looked like he couldn't care less about the difficulties of life.

The main guy, Yeong Jak, was hotter than hell, though. That certainly made up for it. Also, he was actually a good actor.

I'm not sure if there was a soundtrack?? I don't recall any music. So either it was incredibly forgettable, or they didn't really put in any music at all (unless it was in the scene, like a character was turning on a sound system).

Cinematography was great; the movie was shot very well. It was visually pleasing. Uh I give this a 6.5/10... I guess??? I'm just not sure what to think.

@minhee I agree with your words. It was the rich film. The Taste of Money wasn't an one-sided story.

Only 2,8? You kidding me? It was hilarious, awesome, I'm loving it. Music, cast, action. End gave food for thought.

it is all about the money, affairs, perdition sexual.but the wealth prevails much more. any characters did show up quite chill,as if their heart was cold.but nevertheless was a good movie.
