Synopsis

Destiny is nothing you can change; that's what the characters slowly learn. A little girl, having a promise from a goddess, can become beautiful, rich and have nothing to fear beside being in love, as every man she likes would die. On the other side stands a poor slave who has nothing and is destined to be a great man. He is chosen by a new master, a great warrior to be his assistance. But what will happen when he is the first one to meet the king's wife and steal her heart?

A film of destiny, lies and destruction. Fake identities, forgotten past and love. A story of people who fight against their fate but hardly can run away from it.

I just adore the soundtrack on this one!

i dont really like these kind of chinese movies, for me it feels weird. the first 3O mins passed with trying to get used to it, and be blind on the "i believe i can fly" and such things. it was kinda boring, the ending not good, and i didnt like the story overall.

but there were some scenes which (after getting used to it) were actually worth to see, some moments were nice like a picture, like art.
and i guess its counted as one of the best in its own category.

well... pretty much like I thought it'll be... and the worse thing is that the idea which was taken from the book was ruined =\
