@eunhye Of course it will be obvious that they were girls, I'm not saying that they were convincing as boys so that their disguise could work in real life, I'm saying that they were convincing as girls who are trying to imitate a man. My opinion was totally neutral, I'm not a big fan of any of them, I actually find Park Shin Hye to be annoying as an actress, Sulli is not so great as an actress too. I find Yoon Eun Hye and Moon Geun Yeong great at acting though, but that doesn't mean they are perfect. Moon Geun Yeong -and I'm totally talking based on her role in this drama- was not convincing, she was so girly that it was so stupid for everyone not to notice, she was actually more girly than her character in Cinderella's Sister. I'm neither a loyal fan of Yoon Eun Hye nor I'm biased towards her, I actually think nothing of her, if she have ever messed up I would've pointed it out and if she did well in her role in a gender-bender drama that doesn't mean that by default Moon Geun Yeong or any other actress should do worse.

@bayanoh ha ha ha ha ha NO.
I've seen all the dramas you mentioned, including The Painter of The Wind. In all of them it was obvious, that this is a girl. Yeah, the most suitable were Yoon Eun Hye and Moon Geun Young in The Painter... but still, not even better than in this drama.
I think the really question is who is your favorite. If you love Eun Hye, you like her roles. If you liked You're Beautiful, you like Park Shin Hye. And nothing to do with it.
I, personally, like Eun Hye, but I find Geun Yeon better actress, i love her acting style and the taste in choosing dramas. And I have a great sympathy to the way she gets into the role, giving all of herself to the character. So no, I will not agree that she is obviously worse than other mediocre gender-bender actresses.

@eunhye Apparently you haven't seen Yoon Eun Hye in Coffee Prince, she was so boyish I kinda believed it was a boy for seconds. Sulli in To The Beautiful You and Park Shin Hye in You're Beautiful were a little convincing as women dressed like men. You don't want to see someone gets fooled by an obvious woman dressed like a man, it's so fake and unrealistic. I mean.. Why would a man be all cute as a puppy while talking. She doesn't have to be super-manly (for the sake of the show) but she has to be acting like a normal woman trying to act like a man, changes her voice and acts tough around people. Of course the body features of a woman can tell it all, but a good actress should at least have the decency to act so no body can tell at a glance that she is definitely a woman. Based on this drama and not The Painter of The Wind since I haven't watched it yet, I see that she is definitely not suitable for a gender-bender kinda thing.

oh, c'mon, it's Korean gender-bender drama. There are NO any dramas, where girl actually acts like a man. XD The only thing I saw that made me fluctuate was Thai movie "Yes or No". The rest of g-b dramas are totally lame in the question of hiding the gender.

kkkk Can't help but shippering Geun Yeong with Geon Hyeong. Still more chemistry between them, than in otp-pairs))
