Although the stories are quite different, both dramas have this kind of "it's-a-wonderful-world" approach, where everything turns out good in the end. Also, Kimura Takuya stars in both of them. I believe that people who loved one of these dramas will like the other as well.

Both are about a normal, but foolishly idealistic and somewhat inspiring person who enters the world of politicians, because of his dreams to change the politics and protect the people in his country. It's about his growth into a politician and the way he/she is slowly influencing others with his ideas.

It may look boring at the beginning; politics and formality, but it has lots of funny scenes and meaningful messages. In my opinion, it is a masterpiece.

I finished watching this dorama at the weekend, but I still can´t forget how amazing it was and how much I liked it. It is one of a few doramas which could have more episodes and I wouldn´t mind it.
I loved Kimura´s character and his change and interaction with other characters of story, some scenes were really hilarious and I was surprised that they managed to dig out even some romance.
I was a little bit afraid that I would get lost in the story, when it was focused on politics, but everything was explained very well and it didn´t become a burden for a viewer´s brain. :)
Of course, you could feel that some parts were fictional and idealized, but I am glad that it wasn´t like news from parliament which I see everyday and feel like that it must be joke what people are doing there. -.-

Awesome drama! balances the fun, love, struggle and the politics part well!! Wish there is more episodes! but I won't complain! The way they ended this drama is really satisfying!! The pace of the drama is just nice! really great drama to watch!

Bluffant.

From what I've gathered, Abe Hiroshi is in pretty decent dramas. :P Might give this one a go. Plot seems interesting.

Just finished watching this, it was pretty solid. Unlike many other dramas, there's a high level of acting is this one. Kimura Takuya's 20 minutes uncut monologue blew me away, need to watch more dramas with him. There's a lot of comedy moments, Abe Hiroshi and the other actors made me laugh a lot, there wasn't a single actor that I didn't like...the cast was just perfect. Maybe the story kinda lacks reality but it's just fiction and still I thought it was very entertaining. :)
