I honestly loved this drama so much! I binged over a few days to finish, but it was so worth it. The comedy and the balance between fun and serious was so well done. I probably offended my neighbors with how much I laughed.

The actors were great too - I'd never seen Seu In Guk in anything before, but his charm and personality were so endearing that I'll definitely be checking into his other rolls. Lee Ha Na was also a first for me - and I really wasn't sure at first whether I'd like her or not. But by the end of it, I truly enjoyed her character. And of course the supporting cast was phenomenal. The serious side provided by Lee Soo Hyuk gave the drama a lot more depth and the relief provided by the high schooler's and the office staff kept the atmosphere up beat the entire time.

The basis in family was also wonderful - especially with the main character's dad, grandfather, and older brother. The dynamics were so well played and heart warming. This series showcased a bunch of different family, friend, and romantic relationships and didn't get bogged down in the main romantic plot, which was entirely refreshing.

You know what, it was just a really well done drama and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

King of High School takes it`s wacky premise and runs with it to its full potential. And does a pretty good job of it.

The plot is steeped in hilarious moments, and the show doesn`t hesitate to mine the potential hijinks that come with a high schooler trying to navigate the adult world. But the show also manages to successfully root itself in the heartfelt moments as well, with great family and work dynamics.

The one downside is that King of High School manages to get tied up in corporate machinations, which bog it down. As important as the office lifestyle is to the plot - it is key area of the second life - a lot of the external politics could have been toned down.

But the show knows its strengths and played with them resulting in a happy, fun watch.

In both dramas, the main character has to pretend to be their twin in order to help them with a task. Both end with hilarious results.

Dropped it on early stages. For me personally, if a drama doesn't leave an impression during 1st episode (ok, i will watch two) - I ain't watching it. I am ever so and completely utterly unbiased. I am not here for pretty faces. What I look for is a good plot, good script, great acting, chemistry, comic relief (if applies) and of course - a lesson to learn. If people can't take anything out of it apart from pretty looking boys - well, that's just sad. Therefore - dropped.

I was crazy about this drama until ...
... the love story between Su Yeong and Min Seok started. It could have been amazing without all the romantic plots

I hope I don't sound too cruel but I seriously hated Su Yeong's character with all my might until the end. Her lanky body and clumsy step, her ridiculous speech, her ugly face, and her complete lack of any quality and talent, everything about her was so irritating,
Since episode one, I found myself praying that the poor highschooler doesn't fall in love with her because it would be so wrong ! She looks like a speech impedimented 14 years old trapped in an adult's body and the thought of her doing anything with Min Seok seriously grossed me out

Also, I'm so impressed with Seo Inguk's acting, he completely transformed into another person when he played his bro ! And, the supporting characters were beyond hilarious. Team leader Kim and Minseok's two friends, omg, they killed me countless times, I just can't with them.

I also shed tears (I bawled actually)
when Min Seok had to stop playing hockey. And it's even more cruel that he found hope with the final match but it was taken from him again ;_;
And the grandpa, I loved him so much ;_;

I don't regret watching this since the actors all did such a good job, but I would't recommend it either, it's just good if you want to spend some time ~

This drama is adorable and quite refreshing. It's always nice when a romantic comedy isn't too melodramatic, and, although the plotline is a little unbelievable, the story and acting are realistic, grounded, and emotional.

Finally a romcom that didn't lose the "com" part along the way to replace it with "melo". For most of its running it was almost a masterpiece, but I agree the last few episodes left a bit to be desired. What is special about this drama compared to most romcoms with similar storylines: laugh-out-loud funny all the way through, conflicts get resolved pretty quickly without being dragged for episodes on end, all side characters get reasonable screentime and contribute to the story, successful combination of lighthearted feel-good plot with moments of poignancy, great family moments, no melodramatic/makjang revelations, avoidance/subversion of many usual drama cliches.

It only stumbles towards the end.
The main conflict that basically sets everything in motion gets solved way too quickly and unconvincingly. I did not buy Hyung's change of heart and the explanation for his absence was pretty absurd, nor did I think it was possible for the parents to agree about their marriage that easily. I am glad they did not go the usual separation for a few years route and that they showed Min Seok had other opportunities in life and getting good grades wasn't everything.
Also, there were some jumps in the development of the second leads that came a bit out of nowhere and the ending is a tad bit unrealistic. Seo In Gook and Lee Ha Na both nailed their roles, but generally everyone was good in their parts. Lee Soo Hyuk pulled off the dysfunctional Jin Woo really well. Also loved Grandpa and Min Seok's friends. Soo Young was written so differently compared to your usual drama heroine. She was a real oddball, the type that is awkward in all ways possible and not cutely ditzy. Felt really refreshing.
