The CG were good, but the rest was a big "what the hell did I just watch"

As expected from a Takashi Miike movie!
I actually thoroughly enjoyed this movie, the CG somewhat made it quite thrilling to watch haha
I was so looking forward to all the quirky characters from the manga, but it seemed like they only focused on the trio (Takahata/Amaya/Ichika).

Anyways, they should've left the skipping game it was one of my favs haha boo

Kami sama no Iutoori Live action covers Chapters 1-7, then Chapter 13 ending with alterations.

I recommend you read the manga from Chapter 6 if you want plotholes (i.e. hikikomori guy, alien presenter dude & kami-sama characters) covered up ^^

3/5 from me! :D

:O
only the first three were from the manga :o
but tbh i kinda liked the games in the manga more.. they were more... daring? but some games were yuck but like this was an ok movie
thank god there wasn't much gore ;-;
am only ok with gore in manga..
anyway if anyone wants to watch it and scared if its gore or real horror no worries.. probably the manga scarier..
but i did enjoy it~~
Amaya here is kinda cuter than the manga XD so short :") tho i think like i kinda did believe he was a psycho~

this is such an absurd yet so entertaining film from Takashi Miike . the opening sequence in the classroom was so awesome, I felt a bit scared. the rest of the games weren't as exciting but they were pretty cool too and I was always thinking what the hell was going to happen next. the cgi was sooooooo much fun and it gave a unique charm to this film, it really worked great. there was some overating though and I wasn't expecting that ending, but overall it was great fun, didn't bore me for a second.

7/10
