Hashimoto Taichi is a third year university student with no specific objectives in life. One day, he sees a girl standing on the roof of the university building. Thinking she may be trying to commit suicide, he dashes over to stop her, forgetting his phobia of high places. When he finds her, he embraces her. In return, she yells: "Are you an idiot? Do I look like I'm about to commit suicide?" and runs off. A few days later, Taichi meets the girl -- Mioka -- again and slowly starts to care about her. What he doesn't know is that half a year ago she was diagnosed with a life threatening disease.

I began watching it a loooong time ago... but I put it on hold because it was too depressing. :/
BUT that doesen't mean that it's a bad drama. Actually I really liked the heroine. It was really nice watching it when the disease wasn't that present. Since I really liked the beginning (well, if you can call 7 episodes "beginning"...), I just had to finish it no matter what! ><
And I'm glad that I finished it. ^^ I really like the 9th episode. ~
I won't watch anything like this in the next time though... XD

This is reeeally boring. I think I should stop watching this kind of drama (a cheerful girl with terminal illness) because they're getting really predictable and boring.
Not recommended.

Watched the 1st Episode only.
even though I hate stories about "a cheerful sick heroine that will die in the end", I liked it.
Mioka is cheerful yes, but she has her own way in living. She tries to loosen her stress and frustration the way she likes.
Characters are not bad but not so good, they're average. that's up till now.
hope I like the plot in the next episodes. ^_^

Completed. x3
3 stars, not bad and not so good.
Typical story typical end, but the heroine was good ^^

It was not bad but it was not something special either.
If you like these kind of dramas, you could watch it but I wouldn't recommend it.

When I first found out about this serie, I was really excited 'cause incurable diseases are always interesting and sad + Yuriko and Elena were acting here. But during the last few episodes, I've felt that this isn't exactly what I was thinking ... Something is just really lacking.

Ahh what a shame. The drama started out really nice but kind of petered out in the end =/

This drama is full of cliche in both story and characters, BUT Yoshitaka's acting is simply amazing. Its definitely what keeps this drama going. I know how this is supposed to be a lovestory and all, but the greatest relationship in it, is between Mioka and her mother, which -in my opinion- is the only thing that makes it different than other dramas of its kind. You can clearly see how her illeness is devastating for her mother and how hard she gives her everything trying to save her. I'm sorry for the rest of the cast but if it wasnt for Yoshitaka and Maya Miki, this wouldnt work at all.
