W is a unique story that manages to stay entertaining throughout.

The premise is intriguing, and the story runs with it full speed. There are twists and turns galore, with the rules ever changing as a result of the manga world premise. The first few episodes make it clear that the story was well plotted out, up to a point. The story does start dragging n the middle, when the writers have to retcon some aspects due to writing themselves into a corner. And at a point it becomes hard to track what's happening as a result. That being said, it's always an entertaining and thrilling ride.

The strongest acting came from Lee Jong Seok who manages to make Gang Cheol an interesting character - he's smart, calm and cool but also a joker when needed. Han Hyo Ju was less stellar, never fully managing to make O Yeon Ju come alive or on par with Gang Cheol. Serviceable but not great, although the chemistry between the leads was off the charts.

An entertaining watch and definitely a recommend for any fans of the writer or Lee Jong Seok.

it started really promising and Lee Jong Seok's acting was on point but that damn plotline...was simply ridiculous. after the first couple of episodes the were the writers thinking?o.O
they had a great idea but failed to build upon it.
nonetheless i enjoyed watching it :D

i deeply regret i had't dropped it earlier, because it was more and more illogical with every episode.

As everyone else says.. It started reallyyyy good at the beginning, but because it moved so fast, they had to keep adding things to make it more interesting, but it turned out so strange, and forced and so un-believable that it ruined everything. Such a shame.

Could have been so much better. Still I enjoyed it.

Gostei, 5/5.

WOW this could've been so good if it had better writers. BUT WOW was it bad and just one big plothole of a plot. I have so many questions, nothing was really explained. It was just one twist after another so that you wouldn't notice the plotholes. This drama failed with flying colors for me. And yet the characters were so likeable, what a shame. Still love Hyunjoo and Jeongseok though.

Edit: I just saw the screenwriter is the same one as Queen Inhyun's man and Nine, two of my favorite dramas about time travel...and yet the space travel thing with W...mmmm

what a waste of an idea that is actually brilliant, enjoy just the beginning part of the drama, the plot is really messed up in the middle and the ending is just average.
