Hum... at first I wasn't expecting much on this drama. I found it a little ridiculous that Mizuki went to Japan to see a guy jumping again... Well I understand why but still... xD But before I tried watching it but ... I could finish it. So now I've given it a second try and I'm not disappointed! I am so tied to the characters that I actually cried. And not a little but not so much... Well usually I don't cry for something like that but... I did with this drama.

It gave me smile, joy. I laugh really hard sometimes. And like right now I cried because it was over. I was beginning to be addicted to it xD Oh well... My eyes are so dried now xD It was a long time since I felt this way!

I give this drama a 'very good' not really because of the story (That was predictable) but because I really enjoyed myself! It's good to make you think to something else.

Also, I really enjoyed each character. Masao was for me the funniest (With his exaggerated expression) and Nakatsu also. It was funny when he thought he was gay xD

First of all, I knew that the angle of this version was completely different from that of the Taiwanese version. So, when I began to watch it, I did so with the mindset that this was about the general feel of the story so I shouldn't expect to much in the romance department. So, I prepared myself to be stunned by eye candy instead. I was actually disappointed on that front. I actually found the cast of the TW version to be much more attractive. Furthermore, the characters themselves lost out. If you are going to have shonen-ai, both males need to be attractive, not just one. I found myself crying for beautiful Yang Yang and his laughingly effeminate mannerisms. The doctor here was just not as funny or sympathetic or good-looking but I covered that last point earlier right? Wu Zun and Ella had way more chemistry as a couple. Plus, surprisingly, Wu Zun (TW Sano) looked more like an athlete than Oguri (JP Sano) and I could feel his concern for Ella (TW Mizuki) more. Ella pulled off the boyish look better although Ashira won out in mannerisms. I am so not a Jiro Wang fan but found myself wishing for him as well. That is one role that he won out with his silliness. I felt his plight more too. Still, I tried to stick it out and appreciate this version for itself. I realize that Hiro and Tang were to emphasize different parts of that character and they both looked the part so no complaints there. Everyone else was okay too. Komari was awesome sauce in her role, despite her annoying hairline. There are more characters but since they aren't fleshed out, and they don't even look that great, it felt like they were distracting from the fact that the chemistry was nonexistent and the script dry and boring. I just couldn't take it. I was really surprised because given my shallowness, I expected to love this one more but the eye candy just can't make up for the script. If you haven't seen the TW version yet, watch this first, then that one or you won't be able to enjoy this one. If you have seen the TW version already and are bored, watch this. Otherwise, there are way too many good dramas out there.
