Three irresponsible young men who can barely make financial ends meet find a young boy standing at their doorstep with a note from his mother saying that they must take care of him until she returns. All of them eventually agree to keep him under their wings and mature as individuals while caring for him, learning the true meaning of family in the process.
I started to watch it because of Shingo, but I honestly didn't think that I will love it this much. Especially right after I started it and met the fact that everybody is bloody SHOUTING all the time. And by everyone, I mean EVERYONE, including the girls, too. However, this drama is the best example that you shouldn't judge something after the first impression. The filming style might be a little out-of-date, but the story! It was so sweet, yet had a lot of depth. All the characters were loveable, especially the three main guy and the way they treated the abandoned little boy. Apart from this, their friendship was so precious, too. I just can't stop adoring friendship between men! I loved Zen and his loud, silly but deeply caring character, I loved Tarou-kun and his I-want-to-look-so-adult attitude and the moments when Ken managed to talk seriously. This drama was all about LOVE, but not specialized only on the romance version of love. I always treasure these kind of dramas.
The little boy who played Akira was so talented, too! I don't know how he's doing in his acting career, but I found him very promising here.
All in all, it was honestly a great drama, the type that makes you cry and smile a lot. I'm a little sad there's only a really few people here who watched it, but I'm just even more glad and kind of proud I did find it. It's always a pleasure to run into rough masterpieces where you don't even expect.
