Bo Eun, 15, is forced by her grandfather's last wish to marry her childhood friend -- Sang Min.
Even after her marriage she remains the same little girl she was -- worried about her exams and dreaming about the love of one of the most famous guys at school, the baseball player Jeong U. To protect her normal high school life and her relationship with Jeong U she has to hide the truth about her marriage, but that looks even more impossible when Sang Min starts working at the same school as an art teacher.
My Little Bride is one of my go to films to watch when I'm feeling down because it has this impeccable way of cheering me up no matter what.
The plot is just really... cute. xD Just everything about the film is so charming. See with the whole older guy-younger girl dynamic it could have gone down a really weird route, but it didn't. Somehow the relationship between the two main characters didn't come off as pervy or weird. So I gotta give the screenwriters some props.
The film is quite funny too, it still makes me laugh after all the times I've seen it. The plot is, yes, mostly predictable, but I think it's the acting that really pulls it through.
Guen-Young Moon and Rae-Won Kim (surprisingly) made a cute couple, and I felt they had a really nice chemistry. They both played their parts well, and Guen-Young Moon is just adorable...as always.
This is a film I never get tired of watching, and I would definitely recommend watching with your gal-pals and/or sister(s).
