Synopsis

Natsume arrives from Kagoshima to Tokyo in search of her wayward boyfriend, only to discover he had quit the patisserie he told her about after only 2 days. Having nowhere else to go and no clue as to the current whereabouts of her boyfriend, she takes up work at that very patisserie. She learns more than just how to make tasty treats however; she discovers that though she lacks talent, she has an unmatched passion for baking and that pastry chef just might be her calling in life. Natsume also catches the eye of Tomura Ryoutarou, a legendary pastry chef turned food critic and part-time teacher, who had quit the industry after the tragic death of his daughter. The two of them learn valuable lessons from each other about cake and about life.

Nice, laid back movie. So many pretty cakes!

Nice, not exceptional (at times the story is kind of stereotyped) and with the typical ending of a movie featuring Aoi Yuu.
At times Natsume reminded me of Suzuko of 'Hyakunen to nigamushi onna', but nothing like that, in the end.
If you like sweets, and laid-back stories, I guess this is the right way to spend two hours.
