There is a new system in Japan for transporting patients via helicopter, but there are very few doctors trained for such a mission. So the hospital lists four in training doctors to be the next in line to take on that dangerous mission: Aizawa, Hiyama, Shiraishi and Fujikawa. But their on site doctors are strict and it is not easy saving lives when you have only minutes on hand to do it.

Shiraishi Megumi
Aizawa Kousaku
Hiyama Mihoko
Fujikawa Kazuo
Saejima Haruka
Mitsui Kanna

First of all I've always liked movies and serials on medicine theme and as someone who've studied medicine I would say that a drama, no a movie in general, made so good is something rare to see. The story is outstanding. I've never imagined what it would be like to be a doctor on a helicopter, but the drama gives the answer to that perfectly. The cast is great and everyone fit their roles and got a place in the story. Yamapi, I don't know why many people don't like his acting skills, but I think he is actually pretty good as an actor (way better than as a singer) and he proves it with roles like this one. Toda Erika did a really good job as well. So good that I was even surprised, since she is usually kind of annoying. Here she actually fit her character, and showed me that she actually ca be a good actress. Aragaki Yui is cute as usual. I also liked Yanagiba Toshirou and Higa Manami's performances as well. I'm giving this a top score and I'm continuing with the special and the next season right away.

In both dramas, the story revolves around young people who are doing an Internship so that they can become doctors. You can also find the same types of characters, though their medical fields are different. In both, you can expect that the Interns will learn about friendship and the importance of live.

the main thing that got me interested in this at first was the fact that yamapi is a main person! ;) at the beginning it wasnt all that great, but it was episode 6 where it really got me hooked and now i think its a really good drama!!! its so sad... i spent most of the later episodes crying lol
