Makoto has started university, but decided to pass the opening ceremony. While wandering around he finds a girl, standing in the front of the road, wishing to pass. But no car will stop for her here, that Makoto well knows. Soon, after telling her she can't pass, they slowly become good friends, and Makoto teaches her the art of the camera -- filming together in their secret forest.
This is, indeed, as many have noted, one of the most beautiful films there is. If I were asked, I wouldn't really know where to put the finger on what makes it special, or magical; at any rate, much can be attributed to the two mains. It is not a conventional love story, it has no intricate plot or what you'd call 'brilliant scriptwriting', but it's a unique experience to watch. Recommended.
Both dramas have deep contents; the two are pointing the life and death ideas. Both deal with how much life is precious, how much you need to live it fully and realize your dreams.
The two dramas are showing the fighting spirit of two young girls that want to live, even with their vague future.
