Recommendations

Both are slow paced, tightly written legal thrillers. Straightforward with no added humor or fluff, both are very thoughtful titles that will leave you not only involved with the characters, but also with the real life systems that breed situations like in the plots.

That's really wrong that they
changed the judge in the midst of the trial. It puts the defendant at a disadvantage, and as has been quite clear, the girl's witnessing was anything but reliable, and all the others were seemingly manipulated by the police into saying things a bit differently than they were..but what seriously astounded me was the naivety of the defendant. Never ever sign something that is supposed to confirm what you've said when it doesn't reflect what you said, secondly learn your goddamn rights and don't talk to the police when you can see that it's obvious for them that you're the criminal -- or unless your advocate is there with you during the interview
-- anyway the film was quite interesting. I always like films about law and how things can go wrong or right. :)

Very good movie. It shows us reality, the injustice, unfair trial.

If he lied, he'll be free. if he tell the truth, he'll be detained :o
