Synopsis

This is a story about a man who puts his all soul into painting but never gets an award. He becomes obsessed and can't see anything else besides it. He has lived all of his life, since he was born, holding into colors, but sadly -- even though he believes he has a talent -- he can't get famous. Every day he spends in trying to satisfy the paintings seller so he would help him, but that is just no good. Even if he sells some, they are only published in restaurants or little shops. However, he quite never loses his determination and keeps passing life by.

This movie talks about the border between a hobby and an obsession, and how far can the human mind go. It also talks about the value of life.

@mirry I liked everything about the performance, and directing and everything... but this film was just off! I mean, it was so against everything I believe in that i simply threw it away x.x. I truly didn't get what the hell was wrong with the artist. Really.

I really liked this movie, but I agree-- it's so sad! Once it's over you kind of have this lonely, unsettled feeling. Regardless, I really enjoyed watching it. The colors were beautiful and I really enjoy Takeshi's performance in it.
