It has been announced that “Mahoro Ekimae Kyousoukyoku”, the latest film continuation of the popular series starring Eita and Matsuda Ryuuhei, will be released on October 18th. Also, the rest of the cast was announced, and the trailer and movie poster were released.

Starting with the ideal partners, the protagonist Tada and his former classmate and now freeloader Gyouten, played by Eita and Matsuda respectively, the rest of the cast from the first film (“Mahoro Ekimae Tada Benriken”) and the TV series (“Mahoro Ekimae Bangaichi”) have come together again. This time, Koura Kengo, Maro Akaji, Matsuo Suzuki, Oomori Nao and Kishibe Ittoku from the entire series, as well as Honjou Manami who played Gyouten’s ex-wife in the first film, and Maki Youko and Arai Hirofumi from the drama series will be appearing.

As for the new additions to the cast, actor Nagase Masatoshi has been announced for the role of Kobayashi, the representative of a mysterious organization that threatens the town of Mahoro and also the man who holds the key to Gyouten’s past. Child-actress Iwasaki Miku will be playing Gyouten’s daughter Haru, and veteran actress Naraoka Tomoko will be appearing as grandma Soneda.

Again, the story revolves around the duo of Tada and Gyouten who always find themselves in trouble because of their suspicious clients. This time, while they are struggling with baby-sitting Gyouten’s daughter Haru, they receive a request from Hoshi, the man who controls Mahoro’s underground, to find who is behind the mysterious “Home and Health Food Association (HHFA)”. They reluctantly start investigating the past of the association and its representative, Kobayashi. However, the situation soon results in a bus hijack…

“Mahoro Ekimae Kyousoukyoku” will be released on October 10th.
